Katherine Gibson

Katherine Lucille Gibson, 68, died on Dec. 2, 2017, in Phoenix.

Ms. Gibson was born on June 22, 1949, in Bapchule to Matthew Gibson and Elizabeth Manuel. She retired from Stanford University after 37 years of service and was a loving mother.

Survivors include a daughter, Lohenia Roeschlaub of Avondale; a sister and brother, Theresa Gibson of Sacaton and Vernon Gibson of Bapchule; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Gloria Gibson, Charlotte Gibson, Brenda Mendoza and Rita Osife, and a brother, Michael Gibson.

Rosary recited at 7 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at St. Peter feast house, with Mass celebrated at 8. Burial in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery.
