Kathryn Lynn Patrou

Kathryn Lynn Patrou, 53, died on June 24, 2015, in Casa Grande.

The memorial service for Kathryn Lynn Patrou, 53, will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church with a luncheon to follow at Robson Ranch.

Ms. Patrou was born in Arlington Heights, Illinois, on May 26, 1962, and was a daughter of Theodore and Beverly Patrou. She graduated from Clarkstown High School South in West Nyack, New York, in 1980. She attended Arizona State University and began working for IBM as a financial analyst in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey.

In 1991 she contracted cerebellar ataxia, a rare progressive disease. Over time she lost most of her mobility skills and became wheelchair bound and not able to return to work. She was a delight to be around because of her magnetic personality. People would visit to cheer her up and were uplifted themselves because of her wit and sense of humor.

Survivors include her parents, of Eloy; three brothers, Tony Patrou of Maui, Hawaii, Steve Patrou of Boca Raton, Florida, and Tim Patrou of Wallkill, New York; and a sister, Kristine Garcia of Tucson. She was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Lee Feldbaumer.
