Kenneth Grimes

ELOY - Kenneth W. Grimes, 69, of Eloy died on Feb. 7, 2014.

Mr. Grimes was born in Casa Grande on Jan. 24, 1945, and was a son of Tommy and Willene Grimes. He graduated from Santa Cruz Valley Union High School and joined the Navy shortly after. Upon returning home he began working for Mountain Bell and continued until retiring. He later worked for a Picacho gas station and prided himself on never missing a day of work in 20 years.

He is survived by a sister, Barbara Chamberlain of Prescott Valley; a niece; and two great-nephews. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Bertha Lewis, Ellen Grimes, Mildred LaRose and Frances Stokes, and two brothers, Tommy Grimes Jr. and Clinton Gault Jr.
