Kent Reimers

ARIZONA CITY — Kent H. Reimers, 76, of Arizona City died on May 7, 2013, at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.
The service will be held later in Nebraska.
Mr. Reimers was born on Aug. 9, 1936, in Ogallala, Neb., and was a son of Elizabeth and Rudolph H. Reimers. He was a manager in the agricultural industry. He served on many boards, was president of the Ogallala High School Booster Club and taught religious education. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid golfer and a big Nebraska Cornhuskers fan. Living in Arizona City, he was a member of St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church in Eloy.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Annette; three sons, Mark and Tom Reimers of Omaha and Matt Reimers of Ogallala; three daughters, Barbara Reimers of Chandler, Nancy Crandell of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Mary Lou Stueve of Logan, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kirk Reimers.
