Kevin Lewis

AK-CHIN - Kevin "Kevie" Lewis, 44, died May 31, 2007 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.

The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at 46484 W. Farrell Road. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Catholic Church by the Rev. Dale Jamison. Burial will be in Ak-Chin Cemetery.

Mr. Lewis was born July 13, 1962 in Sacaton. He was a farm laborer and enjoyed playing the accordion and listening to chicken scratch music. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and his many friends.

Survivors include his mother, Bernice Lewis of Ak-Chin; two brothers, Virgil and Marvin Lewis of Ak-Chin; four sisters, Arlene Manuel, Marilyn Thompson, Jacquelyn Lewis and Monica Murrietta, all of Ak-Chin; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ambrose Lewis, in 1997, and two sisters, Maxine and Annette Lewis.
