COOLIDGE — Kinista Lee Harris, 34, of Eloy died on Jan. 1, 2012.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Presbyterian Church of Coolidge, with Pastor Richard Wright officiating. Burial will be in Valley Memorial Park.
Ms. Harris was born on Oct. 29, 1977, in Florence to Tammy Douglas and Walter Harris. She graduated from Coolidge High School with honors. She was a homemaker and was pursuing a degree in business administration at Central Arizona College. She was bilingual and her true passions were reading and cooking. She wanted to someday own a restaurant.
She was baptized at First Baptist Church under the pastorship of the Rev. Thomas Wiggins. She was devoted to her family.
Survivors include a daughter, Vernesha Garcia; a son, Joseph Santiago; her companion, Chung Santiago; her mother and stepfather, Tammy and Ollie Douglas; her godmother, Helen Cherry; seven brothers, Maurice, Eltorna, Terrence, TJ and Shansan Gant, John and Henry Cherry; and three sisters, Evelyn, Glenzie and Wanda Cherry. She was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Cherry.
