SACATON FLATS - Kirby Lee Nish, 34, of Sacaton Flats, or Hashan Kehk, on the Gila River Indian Community died on Jan. 13, 2016.
Mr. Nish was known as a humorous, intelligent, talented, generous and friendly individual with a contagious laugh and a gentle spirit. His thirst for knowledge began as a child as he disassembled various electronic items only to attempt to restructure them.
His passion inspired him to return to school to study computer programming, and he was to begin the spring 2016 semester at Central Arizona College. He was known for his dynamic personality and gigantic smile.
Survivors include three children, Mosik, Chukut and Weetulu Nish, all of Lapwai, Idaho; a sister, Crystal Nish-Wright; two brothers, Amery and Jeffery Nish of Sacaton Flats; and his parents, Virgil S. Nish and Fraulein Johns of Sacaton Flats. He was preceded in death by a sister, Erica Nish.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at the Sacaton Flats Multipurpose Center. The funeral will be at 7 a.m. Thursday at Sacaton Flats Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Sacaton Flats Presbyterian Cemetery.
