Kom-Ch'Kud "Turtle" Rios

CASA GRANDE - Kom-Ch’Kud "Turtle" Rios, 5, of Casa Grande died on Nov. 8, 2015, in North Komelic Village.

Visitation will be from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Friday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Chuichu Village. Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Bill Minkel at 7 p.m. at St. Francis Catholic Mission in Cocklebur Village, with a wake continuing there. Burial will be early Saturday in Cocklebur Cemetery.

Turtle was born on Oct. 6, 2010, in Casa Grande and was a lovable little guy. He loved pizza, Ninja Turtles and the Grave Digger monster truck. He was very protective of his sister and baby brother and loved going to school and the friends he made there. He also loved going to the park and to Grandpa Peter’s house.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Suzette Rios and Jonathan Frank of Casa Grande; his father, Gabriel Lopez-Juan of Chuichu; three brothers, Juki Frank of Casa Grande, Nate and Jordan Tashquinth of Chuichu; a sister, Korrianna Frank of Casa Grande; and grandparents, Eunice Garcia of Casa Grande and Joseph Lopez of Pisinemo Village. He was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew Tashquinth, and his grandmother Elise Antone.
