Lahoma Sylvia Cardenas

BLACKWATER - Lahoma Sylvia Cardenas, 69, of Blackwater died on Oct. 4, 2019.

Mrs. Cardenas was born on Feb. 11, 1950, in Sacaton to Clarence R. Johnson and Rita B. Manuel-Johnson. She was a loving and quiet person and enjoyed sitting outside, sewing, listening to her gospel CDs and going to yard sales.

She loved her grandchildren very much and enjoyed her time with them. She was a very caring person with everyone, even those she didn't know.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Refugio; three sons, Kevin, Keith and Carlos Cardenas; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Bryan Cardenas, and seven siblings, Ruby Johnson-Carillo, Jerry, Edwin, Dewayne, Dewey, Colbert and Adolf Johnson.

Visitation beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, at Blackwater Baptist Church. Graveside service following in Blackwater West Cemetery.
