LaQuinta Agnes Pratt, aged 53, of Sacaton, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2024. She was born on April 12, 1970, in Sacaton to Samuel Jr. and Wynona Pratt.
During her life, LaQuinta served as a wildlife firefighter for the Gila River Indian Community for a commendable four years. Her dedication led her to various states where she lent her expertise in combatting wildfires. It was a role she cherished and found fulfillment in.
LaQuinta possessed a free-spirited nature complemented by a delightful sense of humor that never failed to brighten the lives of those around her. She had a penchant for music and could often be found enjoying the melodies of classic rock, oldies, and reggae. Above all else, LaQuinta cherished the time spent with her companion and her favored cousins. However, it was being with her twelve beloved grandchildren that brought her utmost joy.
Left to honor and remember LaQuinta are her daughters: Millincent Pratt, Paulette Morago, Cassidy Morago, and Sunny Pratt; her siblings: Ellen Pratt and Samuel Pratt III; as well as her companion of many years, Dana. Additionally, she is survived by twelve adored grandchildren.
LaQuinta is preceded in death by her dearly departed parents and siblings: George, Leola, Andrea, and Ruth Pratt.
