Lauchie Clair "Scotty" Mcdougall

Dr. Lauchie Clair "Scotty" McDougall, 75, of Casa Grande, AZ passed away Wednesday, January 23 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
Scotty was born in Mindemoya, Canada on August 10, 1937. He graduated from the University of Toronto's Medical School and went on to practice medicine in Alpena, MI and Casa Grande, AZ. He enjoyed reading, dogs and time with his family. Scotty will be remembered for his generosity, dry humor, kindness to people and compassion for animals.
He is survived by his wife, Lynda M. McDougall of Casa Grande; two daughters, Melissa Althoff and her husband Dave of Casa Grande, AZ and Monica Flegg and her husband Stuart of Nantucket, MA; six grandchildren, Rachel Althoff, Hannah Althoff, Ben Althoff and Jon Althoff, and Blaise and Skye Flegg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Hazel McDougall.
A celebration of life will take place on January 26, 2013, 10 a.m. - 12 noon, at J. Warren Funeral Services, the Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande, AZ. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Valley Humane Society in Casa Grande. J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud the Gardens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
