Laurence Shea

Laurence Leon Shea, 77, of Casa Grande died on Sept. 11, 2011, at Promise Hospital in Phoenix.
Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 11. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 by the Rev. Felix Rodriguez. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Shea was born on June 22, 1934, in Remsen, Iowa, and was a son of Laurence E. and Martha Shea. He served in the Army and worked as a mine lab technician.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan Martinez of Casa Grande; a brother, Paul Shea of Le Mars, Iowa; three sisters, Carol Schuttpeltz, Lois Pederson and Clara Kayser, all of Le Mars; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene.
