Laurie Groshong

CASA GRANDE - Laurie Lynn Staples Groshong, 43, of Casa Grande died on June 12, 2018, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.

Ms. Groshong was born on Nov. 11, 1974, in Oregon to Richard and Maryann (Young) Staples. She was a certified nursing assistant and was a caring, good woman who put others before herself.

She was loving, forgiving and meant everything to her children. She also was described as independent, hardworking, loyal and beautiful with a great sense of humor. She enjoyed being with her family and friends.

Survivors include three daughters and a son, Katilynn Staples, Megan McCormack, Emily Groshong and Keith Groshong Jr.; a sister, Julie Staples; her father; her companion, Jim Gilder; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Ricky Staples.

Celebration of life beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, at First Presbyterian Church of Casa Grande.
