Lavell Marie Rhodes

STOTONIC - LaVell Marie Rhodes, 45, died on Jan. 22, 2016, at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the District 3 Service Center, with rosary recited at 6. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony Catholic Mission in Sacaton by the Rev. Augustine Lielo. Burial will be in East Sacaton Cemetery.

Ms. Rhodes was born on July 21, 1970, in Phoenix. She graduated from Casa Grande Union High School in 1988 and was a dental assistant. She was a member of St. Anthony’s and loved cats, camping, travel to California with family and baking.

Survivors include her father, Robert J. Rhodes of Sacaton, and a nephew, nieces and cousins. She was preceded in death by her companion, James Osife, and her mother, Laverta A. Rhodes.
