Lawrence A. Sanders

Lawrence A. Sanders, 45, died Dec. 2, 2007 at Hospice of the Valley at Friendship Village.


Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church by the Rev. Juan Carlos Aguirre. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mr. Sanders was born Oct. 24, 1962 in Torreon, Mexico. He was an assembly line worker. He enjoyed fishing, his pets and going for nature walks. He loved cold Coke and Snickers candy bars and home-cooked meals.

Survivors include his mother, Mary G. Sanders of Eloy; three sisters, Elena Sanders Pelayo of Tempe, Virginia Y. Wells of Apache Junction and I. Genevieve Sanders of Chandler; and five brothers, Benjamin H. Sanders of Kennesaw, Ga., Norman A. Sanders of Angola, La., Victor J. Sanders of Peoria, Eric S. Sanders of Houma, La., and H. Leroy Sanders of Mesa. He was preceded in death by his father, Victor C. Sanders.
