Leatrice Ann White, 55, of Bapchule, passed away on December 26, 2023, in Chandler. Born on October 21, 1968, in Phoenix to Leander Sr. and Geraldine White, Leatrice's life was defined by her love for family and her adventurous spirit.
Leatrice cherished every moment spent with her only son Cameron. He was the center of her world and she embraced the role of a devoted and caring mother. Their visits were always filled with warmth and joy, as Leatrice loved preparing delicious meals for him. Her home-cooked food brought comfort and nourishment to their bond.
In the company of friends, Leatrice found great joy in sharing stories and laughter. Her infectious laugh could light up a room and bring smiles to those around her. She truly lived life to the fullest, embracing every adventure that came her way.
Returning home to her mother's embrace was always a source of happiness for Leatrice. The aroma of her mother's cooking beckoned her back to familiar comforts and treasured family moments.
During high school, Leatrice's determination led to great achievements as the All-State Track Champion, showcasing her incredible talent and tenacity.
Leatrice is survived by her beloved son Cameron Fast Horse White and her devoted mother Geraldine White. She is preceded in death by her father Leander Sr., as well as her siblings Sylvester, Leander Jr., Janet, Janice, and Sylvia White.
