Lena Mae Laney

TUCSON - Lena Mae Laney, 80, of Tucson died on Feb. 15, 2017, at home.

Mrs. Laney was born on Feb. 6, 1937, in Lewisville, Arkansas, to Hugh Lee and Pauline Lambeth. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene, where she attended Bible study. She enjoyed bowling, spending time at the lake, reading and going out to lunch with family and church friends.

She is survived by her husband, Harold "Red"; a daughter, Sheree Rodriguez; a son, Jimmy White; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clayton "Fred" and James "Bud" Lambeth.

Celebration of life at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Craig Coulter officiating.
