Lenora Lillian Escalante

SELLS - Lenora Lillian Escalante, 92, died on July 18, 2018.

Mrs. Escalante was born on June 9, 1926, in Laveen to David Smith and Lizzie Micha. She was loving, caring and kind to all and loved being with her family.

She was a Christian who loved reading her Bible and a very happy person who was always smiling. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting and cooking for everybody.

Survivors include 10 daughters and sons, Gwen Bahyesva, Beatrice Tashquinth, Peggy Escalante, Janice Widener, Cecil Escalante, Donna Juan, Sylvia Escalante, Fred Escalante Jr., Raymond Escalante and Mary Jane Mamake, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, a brother and two sisters.

Visitation beginning at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, at the Assembly of God in Sells. Funeral there at 5 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25. Burial in Escalante Cemetery.
