Leo Benedict Manuel Jr.

SACATON - Leo Benedict Manuel Jr., 63, of Sacaton died on Feb. 14, 2019.

Mr. Manuel was born on Sept. 26, 1955, in Sacaton to Hazel and Leo Manuel Sr. He was a big Dallas Cowboys fan and loved music and working outdoors. He was creative and did Native drawings and crafts.

Known for helping others and putting everyone before himself, he had a great sense of humor and loved his Chevy truck. He was a hardworking man and most of all loved his family and everyone in his life.

Survivors include his companion of 32 years, Doreen Allison; five adult children, Brandon, Tasha and Natanya Manuel, Matthew Allison and Dillon Allison Manuel; two sisters, Darla and Yvonne Manuel; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Duane Manuel; and two sisters.

Funeral at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24, at Vah-Ki Presbyterian Church in Casa Blanca. Burial at 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, in Sacaton East Cemetery.
