Leon Vincent "Boysie" Lewis

Leon Vincent Lewis, 57, of Bapchule died May 31, 2023, in Sacaton. He was born January 2, 1966, in Phoenix to Bernard Francis Lewis and Nelsie Myra Pablo.

Leon, known to his family and friends as “Boysie”, grew up with special needs. He never let his disability stop him from achieving his goals. He graduated high school and was a team roper.

He is survived by his sisters, Verda “Tootsie” Lewis and Bernadean “Bigsi” Lewis, and a tremendous number of nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and six siblings.

Services will be held Sunday, June 11, beginning at 10am at the District 5 Service Center in Bapchule, burial to follow at the family home.
