Leon M. Allen

CASA GRANDE - Leon M. Allen, 77, died on March 12, 2019.

Mr. Allen was born on Sept. 3, 1941, to Walter Allen and Alice McAlister in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He loved to play his harmonica and sing. A man with a heart of gold, he always was willing to give a helping hand, even to strangers. He loved the Lord.

Survivors include his wife, Nida; a daughter, Geraldine Allen of Casa Grande; three siblings, Minnie Churchwell of Arizona City, Elizabeth Johnson of Tucson and Rosie Coyle of Eloy; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter W. and Lorenzo Allen.

Service at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 22, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
