CASA BLANCA - Leroy A. James, 87, of Casa Blanca died on June 2, 2015, at Caring House in Sacaton.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday at the James home in Casa Blanca. The graveside service will be at 5 a.m. Tuesday in Sweetwater Cemetery, with the Rev. Roy Begay officiating.
Mr. James was born on April 2, 1928, in Blackwater and was a son of Moffett James and Elizabeth Kisto. He was a farmworker. He enjoyed attending various churches, traveling and being outdoors.
Survivors include seven daughters, Marlene De La Cruz of Houston, Janice Pedro, Rozella Nelson, Lorna Pedro and Delvina James, all of Casa Blanca, Yvette James of Santan and Marina Vincent of Ak-Chin; two sons, Tyron L. James of Bapchule and Rodney James of Second Mesa; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie, a daughter, three sons, two sisters, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
