Librado Lopez, 89, of Casa Grande, Az, died on January 8, 2024. He was born in Holland, Texas on July 6, 1934, to Octiviano Lopez and Juana Mendez.
Librado loved his family very much, always worked hard for them, and felt truly blessed being able to watch all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren grow. Librado would say that he lived a long full life, and he always had a smile on his face when you saw him. He loved to explore, take long walks, ride his bike, and watch hockey games. Librado enjoyed listening to Spanish music, playing his guitar, and would tell us about how he assisted on building the Flagstaff observatory, he also took great pleasure and like to show off his work as a Mason. Librado will be missed by many but will leave his memories and love with us all.
Librado was survived by his children: Anna Duarte, Lee Lopez Jr., Jimmy Lopez, Elena L. Jimenez, Alonzo Lopez, Leonardo B. Lopez, and Sylvia Garcia; Sister: Victorina Lopez; Forty Grandchildren, Seventy-Six Great Grandchildren, and many Great-Great Grandchildren.
Librado is preceded in death by both his parents; wife; Celendonia Lopez, and his siblings; Leonardo, Luis, and Maria Lopez.
Friday, January 19, 2024, Services will be held at The Gardens Chapel 525 N. Peart Rd. Casa Grande, Az. Visitation, 9:00 am, Memorial Service, 10:00 am and Burial to follow at Mt. View Cemetery.
