Lilian Don Hinson

CHANDLER - Lilian Don Hinson, 90, of Chandler and formerly of Casa Grande, died on Jan. 6, 2016, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Hinson was born on Aug. 23, 1925, in Tucson and was a daughter of Jack Sam Don and Yick Ho Yuen. She graduated from Casa Grande Union High School and was a bookkeeper for the Paramount Packing meat plant in Casa Grande until she retired in the 1960s.

She enjoyed fashion, cooking and adventure. She was known for her contagious smile and sense of humor that could fill a room with happiness.

Survivors include a brother, Leslie Don of Farmington, New Mexico; a sister, Daisy Jew of Chandler; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe W.; three sisters; and two brothers.
