Linda Jackson

GOODYEAR VILLAGE - Linda Jane Jackson, 63, died on Feb. 12, 2015, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.

The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at her home. The funeral will be at 8 a.m. Saturday at Goodyear Village Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Irving Terry officiating.

Ms. Jackson was born on Oct. 6, 1951, in Sacaton and was a daughter of Leonard and Marthalena Jackson. She was a nursing assistant and was very loving and devoted to her family and a mother to all. She welcomed people to her home and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and the rest of her family. She loved family traditions, family meals, driving and enjoying the outdoors.

Survivors include her husband, Kirby Johnson Jr.; three sons, Elgin and Lyndell Jackson and Justino Balderrama Jr., all of Goodyear Village; two daughters, Edwina Apkaw of Santan and Alaynia Macias of Sweetwater; a sister, Phillis Lewis of Ak-Chin; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
