Ms. Johnson was born May 11, 1952 in Ridgecrest, Calif. She was an emergency medical technician.

Survivors include her companion, John Daily; two daughters, Christine Tumacder of North Las Vegas, Nev., and Elizabeth Johnson of El Sobrante, Calif.; a brother, Noel Jackson of Milpitas, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
