Linda Ruth Beasley

CASA GRANDE - Linda Ruth Beasley, 61, died on Dec. 28, 2018, in Casa Grande.

Ms. Beasley was born on July 16, 1957, to Otis and Ollie Mae Beasley of Eloy. She enjoyed having family gatherings, cooking and gardening, and she loved traveling.

She graduated from Santa Cruz Valley Union High School in 1976 and Central Arizona College with an Associate of Arts degree in 1979. She then attended Apollo College and received a medical assistant certificate. In 1989 she became a certified nursing assistant and licensed practical nurse through Pima Community College. In 2007 she went to Gateway Community College and received an IV therapy certificate. She worked in nursing for more than 30 years and enjoyed caring for people.

Survivors include her mother; a daughter, Cherie Lashan Williams; a sister, Sandy Smith of Arizona City; and five brothers, Otis Beasley Jr. of Tolleson, Terry Beasley of Arizona City, Perry Beasley of Avondale, Stevie Beasley of Casa Grande and Kent Beasley of Phoenix. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents, Jake and Flossie Williams, Emma and Marshall Beasley Sr.

Funeral at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande.
