Linda Smith

COOLIDGE - Linda Lou Smith, 65, of Coolidge died on Nov. 21, 2013.
The memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Indian Hills Community Church on the northern edge of Casa Grande, with the Rev. Maria Watson officiating.
Ms. Smith was born on March 14, 1948, in Casa Grande. She worked for Pinal County for 38 years and was chief building inspector. She was very active in the community where she lived and where she worked. She assisted with the Christmas light parade in Florence and loved traveling in Arizona and going to yard sales. She was a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include a daughter, Lorrie Garcia of Kearny; two sons, Charles Smith of Shoreline, Wash., and Sam Smith of Coolidge; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Franklin C. Carter; two brothers, Frank and Ronny Carter; and a sister, Glenda Carter.
