Linda Violet Joaquin

BAPCHULE - Linda Violet Joaquin, 77, died on Feb. 26, 2018.

Mrs. Joaquin was born on March 7, 1940, to Nancy L. Setoyant in Bapchule. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was a very outgoing person who enjoyed reading and doing puzzles.

She was very active in her church choir and enjoyed visiting and encouraging people.

Survivors include four adult children, Yvonne, Laverne, Michael and Kelly Joaquin of Bapchule; six siblings, Lucius Setoyant Sr., John and Marlene Setoyant, Delores Marrietta, Ronald Setoyant Sr. and Mervin Setoyant Sr., all of Bapchule; 18 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; a son, Marlon Joaquin; a daughter, Michelle Joaquin; a brother, Victor Setoyant; and a grandson, Merlin Pablo.

Wake beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 2, at the District 5 Multipurpose Building in Casa Blanca. Funeral at 7 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, at Lighthouse Church in Bapchule, with Pastor Milton Nelson officiating. Burial in Vah Ki Cemetery.
