COOLIDGE — Lloyd Wayne Dodson, 61, of Coolidge died on June 10, 2012, in Casa Grande.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel. The funeral will follow at noon, with Pastor Scott Bailey officiating.
Mr. Dodson was born on Jan. 23, 1951, in Kenton, Tenn., and was a son of Floyd J. Dodson and Bennie R. Proctor. He was a farmworker and a happy man. He and his best friend of 40 years, Randy Coker, spent many weeks fishing any place with water. He enjoyed barbecuing and riding his tractor, and people called him a "tractor man."
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed farming and animals, especially his Chihuahuas.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Mary; three daughters, Tammy Miller, Renee Duvall and Tina Mizer, all of Coolidge; a son, Glen Dodson of Eloy; a sister, Linda Skipper of Coolidge; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Arthur "Tuffy Gilbert; a brother, James Dodson; and a sister, Pamela Dodson.
