Lois Vernell Graybeal, 83, of Casa Grande died on Feb. 3, 2012, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
A private service is planned.
Mrs. Graybeal was born on March 18, 1928, in Freewater, Ore., and was a daughter of Merritt and Artie Worden. She graduated from Hermiston (Ore.) High School in 1946. During World War II she worked in Ordnance, Ore., as part of the war effort. She later spent 30 years as the library cataloguer for Walla Walla (Wash.) schools. She retired in 1988 and lived for a time at her lake home in Joseph, Ore. She moved to Casa Grande in 2000.
Survivors include her husband, Max; two sons, Jerry G. Graybeal of Ogden, Utah, and Gary Graybeal of Casa Grande; a sister, Patsy Manson; and three grandchildren.
