CASA BLANCA - Lois Mary Stewart, 51, of Casa Blanca died on Aug. 1, 2015, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.
The wake will be from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. today at the District 5 Service Center. The funeral will be at 6 a.m. Sunday at Vah-Ki Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Vah-Ki Cemetery.
Ms. Stewart was born on Aug. 10, 1963, in Sacaton. She was a van driver for the Gila River Indian Community and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She liked doing volunteer work for the community and enjoyed dancing, listening to music and going on road trips.
Survivors include a son, Daniel Stewart of Sacaton; a daughter, Brianna Palma of Casa Blanca; four brothers, Walter Jose, Franklin Stewart Jr., Dwayne and O’Brien Stewart, all of Casa Blanca; two sisters, Sheila Stewart of Casa Blanca and Jackie Jose of Blackwater; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Angelita Jose Stewart.
