Lorenzo Stanley Coops

Lorenzo Stanley Coops Jr, 65, passed away on March 18, 2020. He was born on September 16, 1954 in Sacaton to his parents Lorenzo Stanley Coops Sr. and Charlotte Sue Coops (Blackwater). He is survived by his wife, Terry Coops who he loved very much. Lorenzo had worked many jobs working as a heavy equipment operator an a mechanic until his retirement from B.I.A Land Operations. He studied ministry at American Indian Bible College.

After his retirement he worked as a full time Pastor as a ordained minister at Sacaton River of Life Assembly of God Church. He had compassion toward his congregation, and to the children in the church. Preaching and teaching the word of God. He was truly loved by his congregation his family, and his wife Terri. He was a caring person and had a kind heart. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his sister: Caroline Leyva; his two brothers: Eric Coops and Dale Coops; two nieces; four nephews; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
