Loretta Ramon

VAYA CHIN VILLAGE — Loretta H. Ramon, 87, died on Jan. 16, 2012, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9 a.m. Saturday at the Archie Hendricks Sr. Skilled Nursing Facility in Sells. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. at the family home in Vaya Chin. Burial will be in Vaya Chin Cemetery.
Mrs. Ramon was born on Feb. 6, 1924, in Kukaj Village and was a daughter of Leroy and Josephine Antone. She was a homemaker and made traditional baskets, dolls and pottery, enjoying her arts and crafts. She was known for sewing traditional clothing and rbbon shirts. She was devoted to her family.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Henry; three sons, George Lewis, Donovan Jose and Gabriel Garcia, all of Vaya Chin; two daughters, Lisa Lopez of Vaya Chin and Marilyn Jose of Little Tucson; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Francisco Jose Jr.
