Loretta Rose Miles

BAPCHULE - Loretta Rose Miles, 72, died peacefully on June 27, 2019, in Sacaton.

Ms. Miles was born on March 15, 1947, to Chester Miles Sr. and Albina Thomas Miles. She was a loving and caring person but could be a little feisty too.

She liked to watch old TV shows she grew up with and loved all kinds of music. She was certified in nursing and also in culinary arts.

Survivors include four adult children, Terrance Kisto of Casa Blanca, Lorelei Hale of Tucson, Kimberly Garcia of San Luis Village, Tohono O'odham Nation, and Michael Garcia; two siblings, Lilla Miles of Ak-Chin and Letitia Miles of Casa Blanca; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Chester Miles Jr. and Vernon Miles; two sisters, Diane and Betty Ann Miles; two children, Clifford and Angel Garcia; and a grandson, Carlos Garcia.

Rosary and visitation beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 5, at Billy Farris Memorial Hall in Bapchule. Funeral Mass celebrated at 7 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, at St. Peter Catholic Church by the Rev. Benedict Mary Lieb. Burial in Sacate Cemetery.
