SACATON — Lorin Wayne Long, 47, of Sacaton died on July 20, 2012, at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.
Visitation was from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday at the District 3 Service Center. The graveside service was to be at 5:30 a.m. today in North Blackwater Cemetery, with Pastor Cameron Rivers officiating.
Mr. Long was born on March 7, 1965, in Sacaton. He was a firefighter and worked 27 years for the Pima Agency wildland firefighters. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Renee Allen; two daughters, Elicia H. Long of Chinle and Loren Long of Sacaton; three sons, Frankie L., Robert W. and Julio R. Long, all of Sacaton; four brothers, Ronald B. Long of Sacaton Flats, Girard A. and Stanford C. Long of Casa Blanca and Roger Davis of Phoenix; a sister, Aileen Long of Tempe; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill P. Long and Geraldine Juan-Hayes, and two sons, Lorin Long Jr. and Hector Long.
