Lorraine Diane Duxbury, 50, of Casa Grande died on March 28, 2010 at home after a battle with cancer, with her mother and sister at her side.
The memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at New Beginnings Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Jerry Leastman officiating.
Ms. Duxbury was born on Feb. 24, 1960 in Waterbury, Conn. She graduated from Casa Grande Union High School and worked for 17 years at various Circle K stores in Casa Grande and Tucson as well as Petro truck stop on Interstate 10. She later was a dispatcher for RC Towing.
She was known for being outspoken and “telling it like it is.” She enjoyed working on puzzles and had some framed for family members. She loved pro wrestling and her favorite wrestler was John Cena. She enjoyed her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include a son, Travis Duxbury of Wisconsin; her mother, Margaret “Peggy” Rea of Casa Grande; two sisters, her twin, Laura Wells of Casa Grande, and Beverly Benoit of Connecticut; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Leland D. Stansberry; two infant siblings; and a brother, David Stansberry.
