Louis Marion "Lou" Ross, 76, a longtime Casa Grande resident, died June 25, 2009 at home.
Rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. by the Rev. Kevin Clinch. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Ross was born in Tucson and was a son of Louis M. and Bessie Ross. He attended the future Arizona State University and majored in business administration. He was an avid ASU fan.
He worked for Rawsthorne Pump Co., Arizona Engine & Pump Co. and Gilbert Pump Co. He later was a bailiff at the Pinal County Courthouse in Florence for Judge Gilbert Figueroa. He was a life member of Casa Grande Valley Elks Lodge and served as exalted ruler in 1973. He was a member of Patrick J. Murphy Council of Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Sylvia; three daughters, Cindy Ross of Casa Grande, Erica and Olivia Vance; a son, Bret Ross of Gilbert; a sister, Dorothy Conley of Mesa; a brother, Charles Ross of New Mexico; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
