Mr. Padilla was born on June 5, 1954, in Casa Grande to Louis and Norma A. (Ybarra) Padilla.

Survivors include five daughters and sons, Amanda L., Sonya and Manuel Padilla, Roger "Bubba" Oliver and Syndi LouEllen Bardesis; a brother, Ramon Padilla; a sister, Lupe Palacios; grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents.
