SACATON — Louisa Lucinda Antone, 70, died on Oct. 4, 2012, at Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital.
A wake will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the District 3 Service Center and continuing until midnight at the Antone home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 6 a.m. Saturday at St. Clare Catholic Mission in Anegam Village, Tohono O'odham Nation. Pastor Larry Jackson and the Rev. Francis Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Anegam Cemetery.
Mrs. Antone was born on May 11, 1942, in Sells and was a daughter of Mary Thomas and Augustine Pablo. She was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her family, especially the young children. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and listening to church music and was known for her baskets, tortillas and yeast buns.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Gilbert F.; two daughters, Ione Williams and Lynelle Antone of Sacaton; two sons, Dallas Havier and Gilbert Antone Jr. of Sacaton; a sister, Tereasa Williams of Phoenix; 10 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Donovan Havier Sr. and Milford Antone; two brothers, Louis and Raymond Pablo; and a grandson, Wesley Williams.
