Louisa Gonzales

Louisa Gonzales, 73, of Mesa died June 25, 2009 at Hospice of the Valley, Friendship Village in Tempe.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Green Acres Mortuary in Scottsdale. The graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Green Acres Cemetery.

Ms. Gonzales was born Aug. 13, 1935 in Scottsdale and was a daughter of Benito Uriarte and Victoria Espinosa. She was a homemaker and a caregiver for the elderly. She sang for retirement homes and worked in housekeeping. She was an entrepreneur.

Survivors include three daughters, Gloria Gonzales of Buckeye, Victoria Matus of Tempe and Aaliyah Moreno of Mesa; two sons, Guadalupe Gonzales Jr. of Tempe and John Lewis Gonzales of Scottsdale; three sisters, Amelia Ortega, Jessica and Connie Uriarte, all of Arizona; six brothers, Daniel Robles, Salvador, Bennie, Arturo and Danny Uriarte, all of Arizona, and Mike Uriarte; 18 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

J. Warren Funeral Services, Mountain View Chapel & Crematorium was in charge of local arrangements.
