Lucia Mejia

CASA GRANDE - Lucia Mejia, 47, died on Jan. 18, 2019, in Casa Grande.

Ms. Mejia was born on April 8, 1971, in Casa Grande and was a daughter of Daniel Mejia Sr. and Maria O'Dell. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She was a very loving person who enjoyed dancing, listening to Spanish music and playing bingo.

Survivors include her companion of 30 years, Manuel Bernal-Soto, and six siblings, Daniel Mejia Jr. of Stanfield, Alice Sanchez, Irma Chavarin, Ida Mejia, all of Casa Grande, Esther Ruelas of Stanfield and Mary Rodriguez of Casa Grande. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lionel and Augustine E. Mejia; and a sister, Elia Avelia.

Visitation beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 10. Funeral Mass celebrated at 10:30. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
