Luciana "Lucy" Lopez

Luciana "Lucy" Lopez, 92, of Casa Grande died on July 13, 2015, in Casa Grande.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 10. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. Lopez was born on Oct. 6, 1922, in Redrock, New Mexico, and was a daughter of Ascencion and Guadalupe Fernandez. She was a homemaker and loved to cook and garden. Family always came first, and she had a very strong Catholic faith. She instilled those values in her family. She loved watching her novellas on TV.

Survivors include three daughters, Olivia Rodriguez, Anna Etheredge and Mary Gonzalez, all of Casa Grande; four sons, Manuel Lopez Jr. and Danny Lopez of Casa Grande, Rudy Lopez of Eloy and Frank Lopez of Arizona City; 31 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel; two daughters, Mary Helen Lopez and Veronica Ochoa; a son, Victor Lopez; a granddaughter, Andrea Lopez; five brothers; and two sisters.
