Lucinda Antone

SACATON - Lucinda Rose "Cinda" Antone, 82, died on March 11, 2018.

Ms. Antone was born on April 26, 1935, in Sacaton and was a daughter of Gladys and Mark Whitman Sr. She enjoyed taking care of her family. It was her passion, and she had a career as a caregiver.

Survivors include a son, Sherwin "Crook" Whitman; five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and a great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her companion, Gordon Antone.

Wake service beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, at the Whitman home in Sacaton. Funeral at 6:30 a.m. Friday, March 16, at First Pima Baptist Church. Burial in Sacaton East Cemetery.
