Lula Mae Gayden, 80, of Casa Grande died on Nov. 2, 2012, at University Medical Center in Tucson.
The memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall, with Ronald Jones officiating.
Mrs. Gayden was born on July 15, 1932, in Leavenworth, Kan., and was a daughter of Edward and Mary Williams. She was a homemaker and active Jehovah's Witness minister for 22 years. She enjoyed painting and collecting rocks and painting them. She loved the beach and Motown music. She also did some upholstery work.
Survivors include her husband, Winthrop Sr.; five adult children, Winthrop Gayden Jr. of Casa Grande, Fonda Gayden of Chowchilla, Calif., David Gayden of Phoenix, Thomas Gayden of Colorado and Michael Gayden of New York City; a brother, Arthur Hunter of Kansas City, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Timouthy Gayden; two sisters; and seven brothers.
