COOLIDGE — Lupita V. Alvarez, 41, of Phoenix died on Dec. 22, 2011, in Phoenix.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel. The funeral there will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Larry Rice officiating. Burial will be in Valley Memorial Park.
Ms. Alvarez was born on June 14, 1970, in Florence. She was a pharmacy technician who was known as a happy soul and loved life. She was known for her kindness and generosity and for her sparkle that could light up a room. She had many friends and was devoted to her son.
Survivors include her son, Cruz X. Alvarez of Phoenix; her mother, Maria Alvarez of Coolidge; two brothers, Luciano Alvarez Jr. of Porterville, Calif., and Felix Alvarez of Coolidge; and seven sisters, Margarita and Hortencia Alvarez, Linda Martinez, Elizabeth and Rosita Alvarez, all of Porterville, Macaria Greco of Casa Grande and Maricela Borboa of Coolidge. She was preceded in death by her father, Luciano Alvarez.
