Born in Mexico, she was the daughter of Pedro and Apolonia Elixavide. Sheenjoyed music and dancing and sang in church choirs for more than 20 years. She was a member of the Woodmen of the World and Obreros Club and for the last 20 years was found of playing bingo everywhere she could find it. She enjoyed life and telling stories about the revolutionary Pancho Villa from her childhood.
