SACATON - Lydell Anthony Poola, 37, of Sacaton died on Sept. 9, 2014, at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday at the District 3 Service Center, with rosary recited at 6. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Mission in Sacaton by Monsignor Tom Hever. Burial will be in East Sacaton Cemetery.
Mr. Poola was born on Aug. 23, 1977, in Phoenix. He was a casino cashier and a loving, kind man who put everyone’s needs before his own. He was especially close to his granddaughter Bella and much loved by family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Tina; two daughters, Crystal Curtis of Queen Creek and Elizabeth Tucker of Germany; a son, Johnny Terranova of Queen Creek; his parents, Clifton Poola of St. Robert, Missouri, and Karen White of Sacaton; two sisters, Lakota White and Starlit Poola of Sacaton; a brother, Avery White of Sacaton; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Lawrence and Lolita Jackson and Mitchell Poola.
