Lyndall Lambert

Lyndall P. Lambert, 86, a longtime Casa Grande resident, died on Aug. 5, 2010, at home, with her family by her side.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Mountain View Chapel. The service of remembrance will follow at 6, with Pastor Sylvester Salcido officiating. Burial will be at 8 a.m. Monday in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mrs. Lambert was born on June 12, 1924, in Oplin, Texas, and was a daughter of Robert and Rossie Poindexter. She was a quality control inspector and worked for Casa Grande Mills/Champion Products for more than 25 years. She also worked for the Casa Grande Elementary School District. She enjoyed watching sports, especially the Phoenix Suns, gardening, crossword puzzles and coloring. She collected Mickey Mouse and frog items.
Survivors include a daughter Sandra L. Salcido of Casa Grande; two sons, Robert Larry Lambert of Casa Grande and Stephen Lambert of Carlin, Nev.; two sisters, Farris Garrison of San Diego and Robbie Baugh of Phoenix; 23 grandchildren, including her primary care giver, Karie Dumler; and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, John H.; two sons, Gary and Jonnie Lambert; two daughters, Paulette Durant and Joy Lutrick; and two brothers, Boice and Melvin Poindexter.
