Lynford Allen

CASA BLANCA - Lynford Allen, 64, of Chandler died on Jan. 7, 2017, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Allen was born on April 15, 1952, in Sacaton to Roy and Emaline (Jackson) Allen. He was a very active man and loved to be outdoors no matter the weather. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and long walks.

He was a very supportive husband and father and active in the community. If there was a task that needed to be undertaken, he was the man for the job.

Survivors include his wife, Elena D.; three sons, James W. Allen, Jason Otero and Derrick Antone, all of Chandler; a brother, Terrance Allen of Casa Blanca; and six sisters, Rhonda L. and Beverly J. Allen, Abigail Allen-Thomas, all of Casa Blanca, Cheryl and Myrna J. Allen of Sacaton and Carla M. Allen of Casa Blanca. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Everette, Merlen, Sherwin and Delvin Allen.

Visitation beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, at the District 5 Multipurpose Building in Casa Blanca. Funeral at 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at Vah-Ki Presbyterian Church. Burial in Vah-Ki Cemetery.
